1.0 OBJECTIVE:
The objective of this SOP is:
1.1 To lay down a procedure for Disposal of Waste Generated in Warehouse.

2.0 SCOPE:
2.1 This SOP is applicable for Disposal of Waste Generated in Warehouse.
 
3.0 RESPONSIBILITY:
3.1 The Officer /Supervisor Warehouse shall be:
3.1.1Responsible for Disposal of Waste Generated in Warehouse.

4.0 ACCOUNTABILITY:
4.1 Manager Warehouse / Head – Quality Assurance

5.0 PROCEDURE:
5.1 Used empty material container(s)/drum(s) of the different category like metallic / rubber / PVC / glass type sand to the scrap yard as follows.
5.1.1 Collect the different empty scrap items mentioned, day by day and inform to the supervisor – house keeping.
5.2 Ensure any waste empty item shall not send in the scrap yard as such it must be crushed before taken to scrap yard.
5.3 Supervisor – House keeping shall monitor the entire function of disposal of the waste in scrap yard.
