Pharma stocks gain momentum in an otherwise weak market

The pharma index has hiked to 3.5% during this week whereas a decline of 1.5% has been observed in the benchmark index. Top 3 Nifty gainers includes Abbott India (almost 5% gain), Pfizer (nearly 4.5% gain), Zydus Life (about 3% gain).

Dr. Reddy’s laboratories has come in an agreement with IQVIA to bring its Orchestrated Customer Engagement (OCE) platform to the entire field force and marketing teams in India. It will be able to link all fields of management together and make customer engagement more convenient.

US FDA issues 3 observations to Torrent Pharma's Gujarat unit

Torrent Pharma stated that a form 483 with 3 observations have been issued by US FDA after an inspection of its manufacturing unit in Indrad, Gujarat. The company’s statement mentioned that none of the observations are related to data integrity and they will address them as soon as possible.

US regulatory authority issues warning letter to Lupin's Tarapur branch

The company said that it believes that the issuance of letter won’t have much of an impact and certainly won’t cause disruption of supplies or revenue generation from operations in this branch.

MoHFW Commitee sends proposal to strengthen state FDAs of some states

Eugia US LLC recalls Acyclovir Sodium injection from the market

The company has voluntarily recalled the lot number AC22006 of AuroMedics Acyclovir Sodium Injection 500 mg per 10 mL (50 mg/mL), 10 mL single-dose vials after the complaint was filed for the presence of dark red, brown and black particulate inside the vial.
