National Drug Portal to be established for all medicines by 2023

The news of digital push to the pharma industry has come out with the announcement of the establishment of a National Drug Portal by the Central Government that will keep a track of all the medicines, by the end of 2023. This is being done to strengthen the consumer rights in India.

Sun Pharma receives CDSCO approval to market Esomeprazole dual release gastroresistant tablets

Sun Pharma received approval from the Subject Expert Committee (SEC) working under the CDSCO to produce and market Esomeprazole dual release gastro-resistant tablets (80 mg), a treatment for moderate to severe refractory gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD) for 4 weeks only.
