Govt. of India to establish national drugs database to monitor quality

On Friday, the Government constituted an expert panel to prepare a “National Drugs Database” which will be a comprehensive database of drugs manufactured and marketed in the country. This will help in monitoring their quality and regulatory policies associated with them.

Lupin receives tentative nod from US FDA for Drosperinone tablets

Lupin Limited declared that they have received tentative approval from US FDA for its ANDA (Abbreviated New Drug Application) for Drospirenone tablets (4 mg strength). Drospirenone tablets are the generic equivalent of Slynd Tablets (4 mg) of Exeltis USA.
