To lay down procedure for cleaning of S.S. Tank
2.0 SCOPE
This SOP is applicable for S.S. Tank.
3.0 RESPONSIBILITY

5.0 CLEANING PROCEDURE:-
5.1 BATCH TO BATCH CHANGE OVER
5.1.1 Affix new stage label.
5.1.2 Clean solution spillage by wet mop.
5.1.3 Start new batch processing.
 
5.2 PRODUCT TO PRODUCT CHANGE OVER
5.2.1 Clean the S.S. Tank first with potable water containing 0.1% Teepol     & then clean the surface with nylon bristles brush to remove particles sticking to the surface.
5.2.2 Remove the soap water with potable water washing.
5.2.3 Rinse the equipment with warm water.
5.2.4 Complete removal of soap tested by litmus paper test.
5.2.5 Do final rinsing with D.M.Water.
5.2.6 Dry the S.S. Tank with clean lint free cloth.
5.2.7 Cover the clean Tank & affix the label ‘CLEANED’.
