- In relation to Salary, Entry Level Brand Managers in India is?
In this survey, 53.4% of respondents reported being underpaid, with 34% responded they are getting a salary as per the industry standard, and only 2.9% of respondents reported being overpaid. But 9.7% of respondents had no idea about the pay scale for medical representatives.
- Do you think there is a significant difference in Entry Level Brand Manager salaries given by International MNCs & Indian MNCs?
68.9% of respondents revealed more than 20% in the pay scale set by International MNCs and Indian Pharmaceutical companies, while 15.5% also indicated a difference but, it was less than 20%. And, 13.6% of respondents didn’t know about the difference between salaries provided by International MNCs and Indian pharma companies.
- How much salary (per month) do Indian Pharma Companies give to Entry Level Brand Managers?
34% of respondents reported a salary of more than Rs 35000 per month for a fresher medical representative. In addition to this, 21.4% of those surveyed had a salary between Rs 15000 and Rs 25000 monthly, with 7.8%, between Rs 10000 to 15000 and 1.9% of respondents indicated salary was even lower than Rs 10000.
- What is the salary range (per month) for 2 yrs Experienced Brand Manager in Indian Pharma?
42.7% of respondents said that the salary for 2 years experienced brand manager was above 45000 per month. Alongside this, 32% reported salaries between Rs 35000 to 45000. Furthermore, 18.4% said that it was between Rs 25000-35000, and 6.8% with less than Rs. 25000.
- How much is the Salary Increment for Medical Rep if the company is changed for the same role?
As per the Survey result, just 21.4% of respondents reported the increment was between 5 to 10% increment and 37.9% between 11 to 20%.
Additionally, 30.1% of the surveyed indicated more than 20%, and 10.7% with more than 30%.
- After how many years a Brand Manager is promoted to the next level role?
The majority of the respondents said promotion comes after having more than 3 years of experience, with 29.1% stating 2 years, 14.6% mentioning 4 years, and 12.6% of those we surveyed expect the promotion following more than 4 years of work-ex.
- How much is the Salary Increment for the Brand Manager if promoted to the Next level role in the hierarchy?
20.4% of respondents reported an increase between 21 to 30%, with almost 59.2% seeing an increase of 10 to 20%. 9.7% of those who reported increments said their salaries were raised by over 30% but 10.7% also indicated less than a 10% raise.
