Dr. Ajay Semalty, professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, has been included in the world’s top 2% of scientists in the list published by a research group of Stanford University for the second time.

Dr. Ajay Semalty Semalty said that in the scarce resources and conditions perpetuated by the Covid, it is good news that he could get this accomplishment.

He has 11 research projects, 84 research papers, 11 books, one Indian patent, University Grants Commission’s national-level research award, two web-based courses on SWAYAM and 24 online courses on other platforms to his credit.

This year Semalty is put at 1,70,702 rank, which is a major leap from the 1,96,612 position he got last year in Pharmacy and Pharmacology.

Dr. Ajay Semalty is known as an expert reviewer of Israel Science Foundation (ISF) Israel, Iceland Research Foundation, and Scientific Expert (REPRISE) for the Ministry of Institution and University Research (MIUR), Italy.
